West Herr Subaru was delighted to donate blankets and messages of hope to the patients at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. Thanks to Subaruās long standing partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, we were able to share kindness and hope with those who need it most. For us, this opportunity goes beyond providing warmth and comfort. Supporting those facing cancer in our community is something weāve cared about deeply for years. West Herrās dedication to cancer care and research reaches far beyond the realms of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. Our CEO Scott Bieler is a philanthropist dedicated to supporting those fighting cancer. Heās served on the board of Roswell Park for more than two decades. In 2016, the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center opened as a new pillar of hope. It includes a Breast Oncology Center that offers the latest approaches for risk management and the diagnosis, a Breast Imaging Center offering screening and diagnostics, an expanded Chemotherapy and Infusion Center, and a Gynecology Center that offers advanced screening approaches and cutting-edge therapies. The facility expands programs and services across every area of Roswell Parkās comprehensive cancer center operations, and it was the first clinical expansion in nearly two decades when it opened. In 2023, the Scott Bieler Amherst Center opened to extend Roswell Parkās outstanding cancer care to those in the northern suburbs of Buffalo. Scottās devotion to improving the lives of cancer patients in Western New York and strengthening the mission to find a cure aligns with the core values of all West Herr dealerships and is reflected in our employees, who are always willing to get involved. Bringing a smile to the faces of our friends and neighbors is just another way West Herr Subaru cares for our community. Weāre proud to be More than a Car Dealer. FeedMore WNY is incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with West Herr Subaru. They have been dedicated partners to FeedMore, supporting community members in Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties through volunteerism, donations, and of course, through their Share the Love event. From the start of our collaboration in 2014, West Herr has donated over $418,000 to uplift our efforts and help alleviate food insecurity in our community. This kindness allows FeedMore to allocate dollars to our vital programs and services that relieve hunger, including Meals on Wheels, the Food Bank of WNY, the RISE workforce development program, and more. Most recently, we were presented with a generous check for $48,533.34 at FeedMoreās Sweet Expectations event. Many thanks to the WH members of the event committee for sharing their time and talents, and to the organization for acting as a Gold Sponsor. It could not have happened without you. This occasion is just one example of the genuine care and attention weāve received from the West Herr Subaru team. Throughout the years and especially during the pandemic, WH employees like Amanda Westley and Luke Churik have spent time with our team, triaging phone calls and rolling up their sleeves at our distribution centers to help us with the unprecedented volume of calls and requests for assistance. West Herr is always willing to jump inā in any capacity. We cannot stress enough how grateful we are for their time, expertise, and generosity. We at FeedMore are passionate about the work we do, and realize without these efforts, there would be many in our region who would go without consistent or complete meals. The crisis is very real, and the need is very immediate. In addition to helping local families put food on the table, we are striving to relieve the pressure on other area organizations, including our own facilities, during a time of increased food instability. Our friends at West Herr Subaru have time and time again helped FeedMore have a direct, positive impact on families throughout Western New York. We appreciate all you do. As always, we look forward to our next collaboration! -Catherine Schick, Public Relations Manager for FeedMore WNY [Pictured: Justin Morgante, Amanda Westley, Chuck Hardy, and Tara Ellis, President and CEO of FeedMore WNY]

We are so grateful to the staff at West Herr Subaru for helping our members at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo Babcock Clubhouse choose a new pair of sneakers as part of Operation Warm. After putting on a pair of sneakers that fit, the kids challenged a few of the staff from Subaru with a foot race across the gym. Subaru employees also painted a sunset with a group of kids while others played a competitive game of Foosball. Members went home with a new pair of sneakers, 2 pairs of socks and big smiles!

Our rescue has been fortunate enough to have worked with West Herr Subaru and Subaru over the past couple of years. We have held several events with West Herr and are so grateful for all they have done for us and the dogs we rescue. Over the past year we have definitely seen a change in the way dogs are adopted and unfortunately sometimes given up on. Because of the generosity of Subaru and West Herr we have been able to provide lifesaving open heart surgery to 2 puppy mill dogs that would not have otherwise survived. More recently we have been able to provide a puppy needed blood transfusions and IVs after being found on the side of the road with his mother that had died after being hit by a car. West Herr Subaru makes such and difference in the lives of these dogs, because of their generosity and kindness many dogs have been able to get much needed care and rehabilitation in order to go on and lead full lives. Thank you West Herr Subaru for all you do for these dogs! Below are just a few of the dogs that have been adopted at West Herr Subaru events (there are many more).

My name is Carol Clark-Osuch and I am the middle/high school science teacher at St. Mary's School for the Deaf in Buffalo, NY. Over the past 14 years at the school I have had the opportunity to work with the most amazing students. To best meet the needs of my students, visual and hands on materials are always needed to provide my students with best possible education. West Herr Subaru graciously donated funds and supplies that enable my students to be successful in the classroom. From the bottom of our hearts here at St. Mary's School for the Deaf, we would like to thank West Herr Subaru for their kindness and generosity.

On the six-month anniversary of the mass shooting at the Buffalo Tops Friendly Markets, Tri-State Canine Response Team sends its heartfelt thanks and gratitude to our partners and friends at West Herr Subaru. The dealership generously donated toward the cost of our crisis response team deployment to the area in May. Five Tri-State human/canine teams and an additional crisis counselor provided trauma support for Tops supermarket employees, first responders, law enforcement, local school children, and the grieving community. After we served for five long and daunting days on the ground, West Herr Subaru staff welcomed our teams into their dealership home with open arms. They blessed us with doggie and human gifts as well as the generous donation. Six months later, we remain deeply touched by their generosity, support, and encouragement. Thank you, West Herr Subaru!

Autumn, a 7 pound young Chihuahua mix from Texas, was left behind by her family. She was found by the local dog control officers in an abandoned house, alone with her 8 newborn pups. There was no food or water and she was shaking, frightened and hungry when she was taken from that horrible place. 7 Hearts Maternity Rescue received an urgent plea for this mom and her babies in need of rescue. If rescue wasn't secured for them quickly, they were facing possible euthanasia. Autumn and her 8 babies were flown from TX to NY, where a loving foster mom was anxiously awaiting their arrival. In the beginning, poor Autumn was terrified of everyone and everything. As the weeks passed, Autumn came to realize that she and her babies were finally safe and she began to respond to the foster family with love and trust. Just weeks before Autumn's pups were old enough to be adopted into forever homes, we got the terrible news that Autumn had tested positive for Heartworm. Heartworm disease is a serious and potentially fatal disease. Unfortunately heartworm treatment requires a long, painful and expensive treatment process. Well, when the folks at West Herr Subaru in Orchard Park, NY heard of Autumn's story, they immediately stepped in to help. Not only did they host an event to help the rescue get exposure to find loving forever homes for Autumn's 8 puppies, they also donated a check for $500 to go towards her treatment. Autumn's puppies are now all living healthy, happy lives with their forever families. Autumn remained with her foster family throughout the long and painful treatment, but once it was completed and she was finally given a clean bill of health, Autumn also found a family of her own and is living the best life a dog could possibly hope for. She was renamed Julia and even has her own Facebook page. 7 Hearts Maternity Rescue will be forever grateful to West Herr Subaru for the kindness, compassion and support they provided, which helped Autumn and her little family get through that terrible time and go on to live happily ever after!

7 Hearts Maternity Rescue would like to say thank you to West Herr Subaru for their generosity during Subaru loves pets month. October 16, 2021 we held an adoption event at West Herr Subaru, the staff was wonderful and so kind to our available dogs and puppies. Two of our puppies went to their forever homes during the event and Subaru got to share that with us. We are so grateful to West Herr Subaru for selecting our rescue for their Subaru loves pets month. All the donations we receive go right back to our pregnant dogs, new litters of puppies and to saving more dogs from shelters and poor situations.

Peanut butter is a great kid-friendly source of protein. The Spread the Love peanut butter drive for FeedMore WNY was created to provide this essential food source to families in need throughout Western New York. Thanks to a generous donation from West Herr Subaru, FeedMore WNY was able to provide this important food item to hungry families and to children assisted by its BackPack Program. (FeedMore WNYās BackPack Program provides vulnerable children with bags of kid-friendly food to take home on the weekends when they are not in school to receive free breakfast and lunch.) West Herr Subaru donated 264 pounds of food to the drive, including 240 jars of peanut butter. This donation helped fill bellies and spread smiles on the faces of children across Western New York. As the Thanksgiving season approached, the employees at West Herr Subaru were fortunate enough to be deemed essential and continued working during the pandemic. Which provided them the opportunity to donate nonperishable food items to families in need around Western New York. Especially families who have been strongly affected by this global pandemic. West Herr Subaru and their employees donated tons of nonperishable items and 5,000 turkeys to distribute to our fellow Western New Yorkers. In collaboration with our partners at Subaru, we were able to use West Herr Subaru reusable bags for not only that day, but for their shopping needs throughout the year. We continue to strive to help our community and our neighbors whenever possible in the spirit of Thanksgiving.

Uncertain, Difficult & Unprecedented are all words that we have used to describe this year. Like many others, the COVID-19 Pandemic made a dramatic impact on Cradle Beach as an organization. Programming came to an abrupt halt, leaving many of our families without the services that they desperately need and leaving our organization at a loss financially. Each year, West Herr Subaru provides us with a generous and heartfelt gift. This year, that gift meant more to us than they know. Thanks to the dedicated and generous staff at West Herr, we were able to creatively fulfill our mission through virtual programs and activities, hand delivered camper gift bags, the implementation of our new Family Camping Program and offering our Summer in the City Program at limited capacity. All of those initiatives have led us to a very positive turning point in our organization. In September, our Respite Program was able to resume. The program started small, but as of November is growing and transitioning to its traditional weekend overnight format, meaning we can provide services to even more children and families! Without the support of West Herr Subaru we are uncertain where our organization would be. Their generosity and support helped us to change our perspective. During a time of uncertainty and frustration we were able to transform our outlook and focus on innovation and perseverance. We are so thankful for the guidance and support that we continuously receive from West Herr through their Share The Love Event and many other initiatives. Their support has allowed us to spread hope, joy and friendship. They have provided countless life-changing opportunities to children with disabilities and children living in underserved communities. When we think of West Herr Subaru we can't help but imagine the children of Cradle Beach smiling, playing, learning and growing together. To our friends and generous supporters at West Herr- THANK YOU!

The annual fundraising event raised $33,770 for FeedMore WNY! These funds will help FeedMore WNY further our mission of offering dignity, hope and a brighter future by providing nutritious food, friendship and skills training to our WNY neighbors in need.

The SPCA Serving Erie County is so grateful for the love, compassion, and dedication of the team at West Herr Subaru. Their commitment to the animals in our community and making sure they are safe and cared for is amazing, and the animals (and everyone at the SPCA) are lucky to have their support! We partnered up again for this year's Subaru Loves Pets promotion and they helped earn us $3,100 to be put directly into the care of the animals at the shelter. Because at least 31 animals were adopted during the month of October, they were recognized by Subaru to gain the donation. Thank you for helping to increase viewership of our animals awaiting to find homes, especially the underdogs who sometimes get overlooked...like Theodore Flash who you featured most! Thank you for continuing to share your huge hearts with us!

The SPCA Serving Erie County is once again thrilled to have partnered up with West Herr Subaru for their Santa Paws event. West Herr Subaru hosted a pet photo session where families could capture their furry family members in holiday attire alongside the big, jolly guy in red, Santa Claus. Families also enjoyed some holiday activities and treats during their visit. The proceeds of the photo shoot were then donated to the animals who are still looking for a home this holiday season. Thank you for creating special memories for pets with families and providing love for animals during their stay with us until they find their forever homes. Happy Holidays!!

Cradle Beach provides hope, opportunities, and life changing experiences for children with special needs and children who are economically disadvantaged to help them reach their full potential. We provide a place for children from all walks of life to come together, where they can learn the meaning of acceptance, friendship, love, hope and compassion. The life lessons that the children of Cradle Beach learn changes their life, builds character and helps them grow into the best possible version of themselves.Jack Monson, one of our campers is the perfect example of how Cradle Beach is changing lives! Jackās mother, Amy, was not sure that Cradle Beach would be the right fit for her son, but after Jackās first summer at camp, Amy is now certain that Cradle Beach is the place for him! āHe had an awesome week just being a kid, not a kid with a disability, just a kidā, Amy says. āThe change in him since camp has been amazing to see. The first thing I noticed was a huge increase in his language skills, he couldnāt stop talking about camp the entire ride home!ā āHis self-confidence and maturity increased dramatically as well.āSome of Jackās favorite camp experiences were singing songs, making tie-dye shirts, swimming in the pool and making new friends. Jack says that this year, he wants to stay all summer long! Because of the tremendous support Cradle Beach receives from West Herr Subaruās Share the Love Event we can continue to change the lives of over 800 children just like Jack this summer!

A high school math class from St. Maryās School for the Deaf visited West Herr Subaru in order to learn about the difference between buying and leasing a car. The students also discussed purchasing a pre-owned car, making a down payment, and how to complete all need forms. The employees from the dealership were amazing with the students. They answered all the students' questions and took their time to explain each topic. This visit was extremely beneficial to our students and provided experience-based leaving which is crucial for learning. We truly enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again. West Herr Automotive Group, led by partners, Scott Bieler, president, Brad Hafner, Bill Loecher and John Wabick has been supporting our communityās local non-profits for over four decades. Many of us know the popular jingle from their famous ad campaign ā āWelcome to West Herr New York.ā This saying rings true in so many ways, as the West Herr family supports many worthwhile organizations. West Herr Automotive Group began its relationship with the Hospice Foundation in 1998 after partner, John Wabickās, parents were cared for by the Hospice Buffalo team. West Herrās partnership spans the entire calendar year, and their financial support benefits not only our major fundraising events, but gives back to our patients and families as well. After their personal experience with Hospice Buffalo, the West Herr Automotive Group presented Hospice with a $150,000 gift in 2004 to renovate & complete a full service on-campus Bistro. The West Herr Comfort CafĆ© serves as a relaxing environment for family members, volunteers and staff to go for a hot lunch or dinner, coffee or a soda. John Wabick is a Hospice Foundation Board member. His son-in-law, Nathan Wintringer, is the team captain for the Hospice Memorial Walk West Herr corporate team and before that, Nateās wife, Jamie, served as their captain. Since 2008, the West Herr team has raised more than $207,000, making them the top corporate fundraising team every year. The Subaru Buffalo 4 Mile Chase is one of the oldest road races in Buffalo. A near record crowd withstood record-breaking heat to make 2018 one of the most successful in its 38-year history. With the help and support of the team from West Herr Subaru, we were able to draw over 1100 runners. All proceeds from the Subaru Buffalo 4 Mile Chase directly benefit ECMC's plans to build a new state of the art Level 1 Trauma Center and Emergency Department. ECMC is proud to be there for our community when it needs us most, and we thank the West Herr Subaru Team for being there for us when we need support.

Cradle Beach Camp located in Angola, NY serves children with developmental disabilities and from low-income backgrounds. This year we were able to send over 700 children to our camp. It is a 8-10 day residential overnight camp where kids can be kids. Cradle Beach is a safe place for kids to be themselves and it provides new and joyful experiences for them to grow into their best selves.

West Herr Subaru has considerately decided to donate to Buffalo Bisons 19U Girls Hockey. The impact of every donation is felt and appreciated as this is a travel team that is wholly supported by the families and fundraising efforts. The impact is even greater when a company such as West Herr Subaru chooses to recognize the hard work and dedication of the girls on the team. The generosity of this donation will help in acquiring new jerseys for the team.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Ride for Roswell kicks off this weekend, and thousands of people have been busy fundraising for the event for the past several months. The top fundraiser though, went above and beyond many others. John Conciardo is that top fundraiser... and he has been for the past seven years. "I believe that your level and position in Heaven is based on your generosity on earth," Conciardo said. "And I also know that there's only one thing you can take with you when you die, and that's what you've given away."When you meet Conciardo, he might hand you a business card. He's the sales director at West Herr Automotive Group. On the back of that business card, is a link to his Ride for Roswell fundraising page. "This company is all about philanthropy," he said. You could say Conciardo lives for this. He'll tell you others are alive because of the cancer institute in our backyard. That includes his twin sister, and his older brother. Both his siblings beat lung cancer. His mother, though passed away of the disease at age 58. John was just 20 years old when he lost her. He tells News 4, she didn't go to Roswell for treatment. "At the end, we went to Roswell," he said. "Roswell back then isn't wasn't what it is today and they told her, 'had you come here sooner, we would have taken out one of your lungs. We would have given you an oxygen tank and you would've lived to a nice ripe old age.' But again, it was too late, so mom died of lung cancer at age 58."Today is John's birthday. And what better way to celebrate than knowing you raised about $100,000 for the Ride for Roswell just this year alone. Yes, that number is correct. And, yes, he's raised it all through emails and phone calls. "I'm persistent," he said. To date, John Conciardo has raised more than $600,000 for the Ride for Roswell. He tells News 4, West Herr, as a whole, typically raises around $300,000 each year. He was recently honored at Roswell for his contributions. "When it comes to fundraising, I truly feel like it's my duty and privilege to do it," he said at that ceremony.

West Herr Subaru is a tremendous corporate partner of the Meals on Wheels Foundation of WNY (MOW) and we are continually grateful for their support. Over the past five years, West Herr has selected MOW as a local beneficiary of Subaru of America's annual Share the Love event, contributing $227,252 to our organization. These contributions help Meals on Wheels for WNY provide more than 900,000 meals each year to 3,400 homebound seniors and disabled individuals who have a limited ability to prepare meals for themselves. In addition to the support of the organization as a whole, West Herr Subaru General Manager Charles Hardy is a dedicated board member of the Meals on Wheels Foundation of WNY. In addition to West Herr's financial and advisory support, they helped MOW secure a new delivery van through the Ford Friendship Express program that allowed us to expand our services to an additional 72 individuals. We are so grateful to West Herr for all they have done and continue to do for our organization and the vulnerable population we serve.

West Herr Subaru Co-Sponsored the Elma Marilla Wales Baseball/Softball Summer Program. Over 300 children participate in this program between travel baseball/softball and they start as early as age 5 with tee ball. The main purpose of this organization is to provide the opportunity for boys and girls to play, learn and enjoy baseball and softball in an atmosphere of good sportsmanship and fair play. It is essential that all of us conduct ourselves in a manner that will encourage this ideal. Many hours of time are spent by volunteers to help make this program a success. It is their desire to create a community project in which parents may participate with their children in the baseball and softball programs.

West Herr helps emphasize the 'family' in Family Justice Center thanks to its over-the-top generosity. We cater to people in abusive relationships, in which one partner controls every aspect of the other partner's life. Abusers are phenomenally gifted at this type of control and leave their victims traumatized and also brainwashed into believing they caused and deserved the emotional and physical violence. No one deserves to be in an abusive relationship and victims absolutely do not cause the abuse! The FJC brings together in one place all the services someone needs to safely escape and heal from a controlling relationship. We provide safety plans, the ability to file charges, secure an order of protection, injury documentation, civil legal representation, trauma informed counseling, SPCA Paws for Love therapy dogs, safe housing, court advocates. You name it, we've got it covered in three, soon to be four, safe, beautiful locations. We are proud of our efficient model and see more than 2,000 new clients annually. It's rewarding, lifesaving, difficult work and funding is always a challenge. Here's where West Herr jumps in and saves the day. The company sponsors our annual Voices Ending Violence fundraising breakfast with a $10,000 donation ($40,000 to date) and then invites employees to the event who make personal pledges West Herr matches. And it doesn't stop there. West Herr (and Scott Bieler!) are currently funding a $50,000 outreach initiative aimed at educating people on how to talk to someone they suspect may be in an abusive relationship. Education is key to stopping the cycle of violence and abuse! The project, rolling out shortly, will be state-of-the-art. Our goal is to end this public health crisis and West Herr is doing everything in its power to DRIVE our mission forward! We are forever grateful to Scott Bieler and the entire West Herr family. From the Family Justice Center to our West Herr Family: thank you one million times over!

For the third year, West Herr will be supporting the Buffalo Philharmonic's free summer concert series! The BPO's mission is to reach the largest audience possible; bringing the orchestra out into the community for free outdoor concerts in the summer helps us achieve this in a very significant way. Taking the orchestra "on the road" is costly and the BPO seeks community businesses to help us make these concerts a possibility. West Herr immediately understand the need for accessibility of these concerts throughout all areas of Western New York and has helped the BPO breakdown geographical and socio-economic barriers. Music is for everyone - and thanks to West Herr's financial support, you can hear the BPO perform free of charge at six locations this summer! Please visit bpo.org for the full summer concert schedule. Thank you West Herr for your commitment to the BPO and Western New York!

For the third year in a row, Earth Spirit Educational Services held their annual fundraising 5K race called The Tortoise and the Hare. This year we were excited to connect with West Herr Subaru and bring them on as our main sponsor for the event! Thanks to their generous $3000 donation, we were able to raise enough funds from the event to call it a success! The money raised goes directly to support environmental education within the Western NY area as Earth Spirit sees approximately 20,000 students each year! As a non-profit, it is vital to have donors and partners like West Herr Subaru in order for us to achieve our goal to educate as many students as we can about the value of connecting with the natural world. We can't thank West Herr Subaru enough for their support! We hope to continue to strengthen our partnership into the future.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society thanks West Herr Subaru for generously donating blankets, craft kits and messages of hope to cancer patients. West Herr Subaru General Manager, Chuck Hardy, was joined by LLS Representatives Nancy Hails and Luann Burgio to present these gifts to Dr. Eunice Wang, head of the Leukemia Department at RPCI. Dr. Wang was thankful for the donation and the cancer patients who will receive these blankets will find comfort in the warmth of knowing that Subaru Loves to Care! Funds raised for the LLS will help to fund lifesaving research, support patients and their families, and educate the community. Thank you so much to West Herr Subaru for helping find cures and helping to create a world without blood cancers! For more information, please visit www.lls.org/wcny or call 716-834-2578.

This past Spring West-Herr Subaru presented a Eggert Road Elementary School with a garden kit from the National Wildlife Federation. Included in the kit were tools, plants representing local species, bird feeders, a birdbath, several seed packets, and many more garden related items to support local plant and wildlife. Eggert's fifth grade classrooms took on the responsibility of planting and maintaining the garden through the school year. Mrs. Burakowski, Mrs. Couell, Mrs. Duggan, Mrs. Musterait, Mr. Washburn, and Mrs. Wilcox allowed their students opportunities to plan, plant, arrange, and manage the garden. During this year's fifth grade picnic, several students painted rocks to decorate and personalize the garden. Eggert's principal, Mr. Tryon shared, "The opportunity afforded to our students through this very generous donation from West-Herr Subaru and the future benefits this garden can provide to our school are greatly appreciated." In September, when the students return to school, a new group of fifth graders will be invited to maintain and expand the garden.

This year, West Herr Subaru chose Cradle Beach as one of their beneficiaries and donated over $37,000 from Subaru's Share the Love Event. This money will benefit the over 1,200 children with disabilities and children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds that Cradle Beach serves per year. Every summer, 800 children attend Summer Camp at Cradle Beach. Even though the cost for camp is based on a sliding fee scale, most of the families we serve cannot afford to send their child to camp. Most of our families are living below the poverty level. The funds raised during Subaru's Share the Love Event will allow us to bring those children to camp this summer. Our Summer Camp Program is a safe place for children from all walks of life to be themselves. Over 7-10 days of our Summer Camp Program, children learn the true meaning of friendship. They play, learn and grow in a diverse atmosphere filled with love & acceptance. Because of West Herr Subaru, we can continue to provide new and joyful experiences to the children of Cradle Beach. We cannot thank West Herr enough for their hard work, dedication and continued support. This means so much to the children of Cradle Beach. Thank You!
